Pediatric ischemic stroke causes not easy to find
Did you know that doctors can only find the cause of a pediatric ischemic stroke in about two-thirds of the cases? That means that that one-third of all cases have no cause that we can find.
That is the case with Bella. Her parents are in the process of a second opinion since her cause was not found. Everything that was tested for came back negative, so medically speaking at this point there is no cause for her massive strokes. Bellaflies wants to change that. Remember that everything that is donated goes directly to “Making a Positive.”
Spreading awareness that pediatric strokes are not only real, but happen frequently is part of our mission. The other part is helping fund research studies for medicine and better testing. Strokes can happen to any child at any time. Know the signs. Act FAST.
